THE SHIELD 4

Salut ,

petite mise à jour avec les photos des derniers de la classe et la photo de classe avant la rentrée;
comme pour les autres posts les n° en chiffres romains correspondent au livre;
Hi,

a small update with some pics of the last figures and the picture of the army assembled;
as in the others posts the roman numbers are corresponding to those of the book;

LXII Petulantes seniores
LXIII Celtae seniores
LXV Batavi seniores

CLXXIX Regii

suivis des cataphractes et des mercenaires huns

et pour finir, la vue d'ensemble :
and to finish, the army assembled:

toutes les figurines sont des Essex Miniatures exceptés le cornicen à cheval de l'ancienne gamme Touller, et le troupeau de vaches de chez Corvus belli;
voici la fin de la première saison du projet " The shield ", j'espère que ça vous a plu;

all the figures are from Essex Miniatures except the mounted cornicen from the old Touller range and the cows from Corvus Belli ;
this is the end of the first season of "The shield project", I hope you enjoyed it ;

Be seeing you ;-)

Wonderful! I love your basing and colors. Your use of yellow across the units pulls them together. And your scratch painted shields are top notch.

One last observation...is that a purple cow? Must be a breed that was lost to history!

Hi Monty,

thanks Monty;
the purple cow is a representation of a cow used by a swiss chocolate brand very popular in France;

lot of jokes in preview at tournaments with my purple cow on tables ;-)

Cheers

Gilles

Superbes! Les fantassins romains sont mes préférés...mais j'aime bien aussi la pub pour Milka! Un très bel ensemble en tout cas!
